Josh Pearl has served as the Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Hickory Lane Capital Management, LP, a fundamentals and special situations-oriented asset manager, which he launched in 2020. From 2011 to 2020, Mr. Pearl served as a Managing Director and Partner at Brahman Capital, an asset manager focused on investing with best-in-class management teams. From 2003 to 2011, Mr. Pearl served as an investment banker at UBS Investment Bank, Moelis & Company, and Deutsche Bank where he focused on high yield financings, leveraged buyouts, restructurings, mergers & acquisitions, and board advisory.

Mr. Pearl has co-authored two financial books that are used in over 200 universities globally. The first, Investment Banking: Valuation, LBOs, M&A, and IPOs (Wiley), is a professional/trade textbook centered on the primary valuation methodologies and processes used in deal-making. The second, The Little Book of Investing Like the Pros (Wiley), is an investing book that provides a framework for sourcing investment ideas, performing due diligence, determining valuation, and managing a portfolio. Mr. Pearl is also a frequent university speaker on financial topics and capital markets.

Mr. Pearl earned a B.S. in Business from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business in 2003. Mr. Pearl’s qualifications to serve as a director include his extensive experience in the financial industry and as a senior executive of multiple businesses.

Josh Rosenbaum is a Managing Director and Head of the Industrials & Diversified Services Group at RBC Capital Markets. He originates, structures, and advises on M&A, corporate finance, and capital markets transactions. Previously, he worked at UBS Investment Bank and the International Finance Corporation, the direct investment division of the World Bank. He received his AB from Harvard and his MBA with Baker Scholar honors from Harvard Business School. He is also the co-author of Investment Banking: Valuation, LBOs, M&A, and IPOs and The Little Book of Investing Like the Pros.
